Internship work

Here's some of the logo design work (for their new company design) and blue print work I've done for my internship.  I have also worked on photography, video and web design but I unfortunately can't post anything. I will say I've definitely grown in using Illustrator and Premiere and my internship has been a great experience overall.

Inclass digital experimentation

So, we pretty much got free reign on what we wanted to do in class since our model didn't show up, so I thought I'd create some color thumbnails for my fanart for "The Fall" (beautiful visuals in that movie) and a character with a technique that I've wanted to try out for a while. I am liking it, a lot.

Here are some quick updates! The top oil painting had to be based off of a conversation between two people, and I decided to do it in Star Trek land (I just love the creatures/everything in that universe). The second one is an update of the "Sea Man" image that I'm putting up the process for.

A couple of portrait sketches are soon to be posted :]

Here's some sketch slides that show some of my process during this final piece for Payne. I used tracing paper to separate the layers and reconfigure overlapping objects. Then, for the sketches, I tend to brainstorm with a list of trigger words and well known imagery/symbolism (and of course, I first decide what I was going to use the image for. Depending the results, it will either be a skateboard design or a mural (or both). It's a pretty flexible image, which I think can be beneficial.

Reminiscing - The Old and New

Here is a mix of some of my older pieces with my newer ones. It's always refreshing to look back and see how far I've come as an artist since going to CCAD.

First assignment sophomore year - create a dramatic scene.

Opposites piece from sophomore year.

For the advertising graphic design teams class last year I designed the characters for the final board game based off of fellow team mates' sketches/Nightmare Ned.

Expression study with Synthia

My take on Peter Pan- the anatomy is kind of wonky but I was trying out a new style.
